Great Room
Turned Into Great Room/Bonus
Room
In 2006 we took an open, high-ceiling great room and turned
it into a great room below with a bonus room above by
adding a floor in the middle. Our clients loved it so well
that their friends and neighbors started having us do the
same thing to their homes. Everywhere we do it the same
reaction occurs and we now do several "second-floor" bonus
room additons each year.
These additions are a very inexpensive way to add huge
value to your home because they add a large amount of
square footage that is all within space that is already
available within the structure of you home. It cuts down on
heating/cooling costs as well as noise levels and
costs about half of what it costs to add space onto your
home that includes exterior walls and roof. These
bonus room addtions are also very quick 15-20 days start to
finish so you don't have to put up with months of
construction before you get to use your new room.
Below you'll see examples of before, during and after the
quick process of transforming your home. Each row of
3 pictures were taken from the same location before work
began, during the process and then after the project was
finished.
